The Stratos ADVANCE features Sensorsafe technology for advanced safety. SensorSafe Technology works by alerting a caregiver that a child is present in the vehicle upon reaching their destination or if the chest clip becomes unbuckled during the trip.
To encourage safety, the Stratos is weight-rated for up to 40lbs rear-facing and up to 65lbs forward-facing so your child can remain harnessed longer. This seat also includes a 5 position adjustable headrest and 6 shoulder harness strap heights to provide a true extended fit option. For added comfort, we’ve built-in a ventilation system that enables a steady airflow for your child through all seasons. To make installation quick and easy, we’ve added our SureSafe Installation which is comprised of Quick Connector® technology and LATCH Guides, increasing proper installation by 2X compared to installation with standard LATCH hooks. To further promote safety, each Stratos Convertible Car Seat is structurally tested for safety in the event of a rollover accident for built-in safety from every angle!

It’s a good car seat besides 2 things.I lreally like the color and the design of the car seat for the pad. I also like how the cup holders come out. It makes it easier to clean with kiddos. It is very sturdy. I don’t like how easy it is to access the loosen buckel for the straps that my toddler can reach. Plus it is really hard for me to pull the straps tight. I also like how it is till over tested. My daughter thought it was very comfortable. This would definitely be my backup car seat, but not something that I would use every day just because my daughter can reach the loosen buckel.

Super safe and stylish convertible carseatThis convertible carseat is not only comfortable but stylish. Most importantly, it is safe. The latches are easy to use, the adjustments are easy to make, and the adjustable head rest is awesome and will
go up with her as she continues to grow
taller. The initial installment of placing this in my vehicle was very easy. The instructions that come with the convertible carseat by evenflow made installing the seat rather easy as well. Maddison and I like her new Stratos convertible carseat by evenflow. She is all smiles in her new carseat.

Awesome Car Seat!I could tell the difference between this seat and previous ones my kids (I have 5)have used in the past, as soon as I opened the box - even compared to the most resent ones we've owned! It feels so much more comfortable, as well as sturdy and protective. My 3 year old absolutely loves her new Stratos and now I am actually considering buying a second one for my 6 month old. I can honestly say that I have more peace of mind with this seat and feel like she is much more comfortable when we travel. It's safe to say that she's not the only one who loves this car seat! Oh and the Quick Connector is awesome too! So easy to use!

Spaceful and comfortable! My daughter was so excited to see she got a new car seat and gave this a thumbs up as soon as she was able to get into it! I am very pleased by how spaceful and easy this was to install. The material is very soft and comfortable. Love that it has rear-facing and foward-facing. I have been a loyal Evenflo customer ever since I became a mom and I couldnt be happier with them for providing such safe and amazing products to their customers. I have never had a problem with any of my products. I will continue to purchase with them as they strive to provide safe and comfortable products for their customers!!!

Features not labeled in product descriptionChild: 18mo Girl, 30", 22lbs.
Car: 2008 Prius (Installed as rear facing)
Features not labeled in product description but are good to know:
Seat Depth/Width: See Pictures
Buckle Storage: (See Picture) Feature used to keep buckle/straps away/open when placing child in seat. I like this feature!
Not a Base/Carrier type of car seat. (My previous carrier/seat could separate from base fairly easily. More suitable for an infant.) Now I just say get out and walk yourself!
Rear-Facing vs Front-Facing: The seat comes with this swinging portion attached to the bottom of the seat that is very easy to switch for rear-facing or front-facing. It is not a separate piece that needs to be removed and stored it is used for both situations. (You won't be like... "Where did I put that one piece I needed to make it front-facing?")
Cup holder: (See Picture) Grey portion is removable. Great for cleaning.(Issue: not sure why they put holes in this insert, any liquid spills inside the insert just come out the holes and right on to the seat/leg area.)
Headrest: (See Pictures)Adjusts upward for when your child grows. Exposes more strap adjustments for taller kids and seems pretty substantial(in terms of safety)! (Issue: Headrest(black portion in my picture) and Backrest(grey portion) are not on same plane(headrest is slightly raised) causing my child's head to push just a bit forward. It mostly affects when she starts falling asleep and starts to slouch a bit. It makes it almost impossible for her to fall asleep without her chin resting on her chest. Maybe a small cushion on her back would help this issue, but not sure if that affects the safety/operation of the seat.) The issue is not a deal breaker as I feel the cushion and the build of the headrest is most important for safety reasons. My issue rest more on comfort which is secondary to her safety.
So far this has been a great car seat for the short time we have had it and I would recommend it.

Easy to use! This car seat is for my son's small car and my grandson. It worked great! I did notice the cover is very hard to remove to adjust the crotch strap, but on the upside, I believe it will stay in place over the life of the car seat where others in the past that we have used have become lose and unattached. I like the removable cup holders for the washable feature but they come out very easily, so we are putting those up until baby is old enough to need a cup in the car. Over all, this is a great car seat. Easy to use, and I know we will get a lot of use out of it, because of the high weight limit.

Mommy 2 M and M from
Nice sleek design...The car seat has a nice sleek design. It's nice and padded for babies to sit in. Sadly I am not a fan of how it installs in my van and one shoulder strap is a bit longer than the other one. Both of these items make me concerned about my little guy's safety. The seat is installed using the car seatbelt but the car seat can still easily be moved up and down, and side to side. Whenever I tighten the 5 point harness, I am unable able to get both sides to be equally tight.
Overall I like the design and the cup holders, but not satisfied with a few of the key safety features.

Easy to install and very sturdy/safe!When I received the Stratos Convertible Car seat, I immediately noticed how sturdy and safe it felt, which as a first time parent, is a top priority. Installation was very easy and the instructions were simple and clear. Once we put our son in to try it out, he seemed perfectly happy and comfortable. We have been using the car seat for a few weeks and our son seems to like his "big boy" car seat. We are glad it can accomodate his growing size and expand with him, thanks to the adjustable head rest. I will say, the head rest seems like it may push his head forward slightly once he is tall enough to use it, but it could only appear that way now because he is too small to use the adjustable headrest. Overall, this has been a great car seat!
