Amazing TechnologyI recived this seat as part of the parent panel, and I can honestly say that it's overall and amazing seat! The sensor safe (though I'd pray no one ever needs it) is supper cool and innovate technology and far advanced in the car seat world! I love this seat and if fits amazingly in both my husbands 2011 Honda Civic and in my 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan! I would highly recommend this seat, my son whom fights his car seat (convertable safety 1st in my sisters car) went in to this eat with out a peep! I love that it's able to be used for taller children too!

Great over all car seatI recently got this in the mail as an in home case study. I absolutely love this car seat. It's easy to get him in and out of the car and he looks comfortable in it. The design is toward the slinder side but taller then one of the other car seats that I've had, which makes it nice because I have three kids still in car seats and I drive a journey. sensor safe is also a nice feature it goes off every time I turn the car off. It also says it will go off when and if my son were to ever unbuckle himself, however he's still a little too young to do it. I'm really happy to receive this product.

Advanced TechnologyThis car seat is beyond amazing, I love all the features it has to offer! The sensor is amazing and loud enough you will definitely remember that there is a child ( though it's one of those things everyone has an opinion on)! Evenflo has came a head of the times and if it saves one child's life then job well done! This seat is supper tall slowing for taller children to be harnessed longer! I love the softness of the seat! My son seems to love the seat more than any previous seat he's used!
It fits very nicely in my husbands 2011 Honda Civic, with a base for the new baby and of course fits well in our 2016 Van! I would strongly and do strongly recommend evenflo to anyone in the hunt for car seats

Good valueI've had this seat about 2 weeks. I've been using it for my 34 lb 3 year old. I didn't find the "latch guides" to be all that necessary, but they may be a helpful addition for someone who hasn't installed and uninstalled car seat s 900+ times. The fabric wiped clean well, and it was nice to have the (removable) cup holder. Only criticism is that my 3 year old complained that the seat straps were rubbing on his neck. Strap covers would have been a comfortable addition, in my opinion. All in all it's a good quality seat that I would expect from Evenflo.

Great car seat for the money.First of all this car seat looks very nice and comes with some cool features. I will break down my review into different categories and give my opinion for each. This is my second child so I have dealt with car seats for several years and I am a Firefighter so I help customers often with their own seats.
Description of seat
The fabric is very soft and my daughter is very comfortable in the seat. I also like that you are able to store the latch straps and the top tether strap. This conveniently keeps these straps out of the way when you are moving the seat. Another feature I really like are the harness pockets that allow me to store the harness out of the way so it doesn’t get stuck underneath my daughter when I am putting her in the seat. Also preventing her from getting burned from the buckles (I live in AZ).
First of all, I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra hatchback so it is a very small car. I was surprised at how much room was still left on both sides of this car seat for passengers to sit. I installed the car seat rear facing and I still had at least 2 inches before it hit the front seats and that was with the front seats in the farthest position towards the rear seat. This seat actually takes up less room then my infant seat did.
Out of the box the car seat comes set up for forward facing so if you are going to use it as a rear facing seat, like I am, then you need to move the latch strap to the rear facing belt path which requires you to remove only the front portion of the trim cover. I found this to be very easy to do. It took me only a few minutes.
The car seat fit very easily into the middle rear seat of my Elantra. I felt that attaching the latch strap to my vehicles lower anchors was very easy. I really like the latch guides that make it effortless to find the lower anchors. They give you plenty of latch strap to reach your vehicles lower anchors which is nice because my previous infant seat had short latch straps, making it harder to install. Another cool feature of this car seat is a flip bar underneath the car seat that aligns it to the right angle when installing rear facing.
There is no level or level line like most car seats have so I am assuming the lower bar that folds down is lining it up to the perfect angle. When I went to tighten the seat, I had a little trouble getting the seat tight at first but I think mostly because of the lack of room in my car made it harder to maneuver. I had the car seat installed in about 5 minutes. I do like to get my seat extremely tight so it does take me a little longer. I always find that it is a little bit harder to install all car seats rear facing then forward facing.
Easy of Use
It is very easy to get my daughter in and out of the seat. She fits very comfortable. Out of the box this is setup for a taller kids so I did have to adjust the height of the harness, which required me to re-thread the belt into the lower holes. I found this very easy to do. I do have to say I was not that impressed with tightening the harness. It seemed to tighten on one side more than the other making it a little more difficult to get the proper fit for my daughter. I finally found that if I held tension on both sides of the harness as I tightened that it would tighten evenly.
I read this on their website which I like to know as part of purchasing my car seat.
At Evenflo, we continue to go above and beyond government standards to provide car seats that are 2X the Federal Crash Test Standard. In addition to this, these seats have e3 Side Impact™ Protection, which contains 3 layers of engineered foam designed and tested to reduce side impact forces up to 50%.
I think for the money this is a very nice seat. It is designed with some nice safety features, installation was pretty easy, it has nice materials and it is light weight. I think there are nicer car seats out there but if you are on a budget and can’t spend $300 this car seat should work just great. I really like the latch guides especially if you are going to have to move the seat a lot. Overall I don’t think you can find better for the money especially buying from a reputable company like evenflo.

Nice featuresI liked the fact that it was easy to install. Being a grandmother and not experienced with car seats, this one was really easy to install. Great value as well. Since Evenflo has been in business for years, I trust their products.

This is a great car seat. The best thing about this seat is the SensorSafe technology. It plays a song when you turn off your car if your child is in the seat, or alerts you if your child unhooks the clip while your driving. It gives me extra peace of mind. It's also really comfortable; there is padding on the shoulder straps and in the crotch area so that the straps don't dig in to the skin, and the fabric is really soft to the touch. Finally, its very light. I had no problems getting it out of the box and in the car by myself. The only negative I have is that the little pockets that you can use to store the clips so that you don't have to dig them out from under your child were not as easy to use as I had hoped.

Love the Sure Latch option! Great seat. This seat is absolutely wonderful! The sure latch system is perfect for the family that occasionally has to switch vehicles. It makes it quick, easy, and wonderful for a mom with her hands full. We also have an Evenflo Symphony and consider this a great car seat for the other vehicle...Much more comfortable that the Cosco seat we had been using. My child loves it and seems very comfortable!
