Triumph Advance™ Car Seat Installation Checklist

This checklist is not intended to replace your car seat instruction manual. You must read the instruction manuals for your car seat and your vehicle before using the car seat.

Checklist for Forward-facing

Child Requirements
Weight: 20 – 50 lbs (9 – 22.6 kg)
Height: 50 inches (127 cm) tall, or less AND the top of the child’s ears are at or below the child restraint headrest
Age: At least one year old

 

Print Out a PDF of the Triumph Forward-facing Installation Checklist
  1. The child MUST weigh between 20 to 50 lbs (9 to 22.6 kg)
Note: Once your child exceeds 50 lbs (22.6 kg) OR is
taller than 50 inches (127 cm) they can no longer safely
use this child restraint and you should consider using
a booster seat.
  2. Secure child restraint to the vehicle seat.
  3. Set the child in the child restraint.
Note: The top of the child's ears MUST be below the top of the child.
  4. Make necessary adjustments.
Note: Red harness tabs MUST be at shoulder level AND crotch strap
should be snug against the child.
  5. Fasten the buckle.
  6. Position and connect chest clip.
Note: Chest clip MUST be at armpit level.
