Big Kid™ Installation Checklist

This checklist is not intended to replace your car seat instruction manual. You must read the instruction manuals for your car seat and your vehicle before using the car seat.

Booster without a Backrest

Child Requirements
Weight: 40 – 100 lbs
Maximum Height: 40 – 57 inches tall AND the child's ears need to be below the top of the vehicle headrest.
Age: At least 3 years old.

1. Child restraint for children who are at least 3 years old, weigh 40 – 100 lbs AND between 38- 57 inches tall. Also, the child's ears need to be below the top of the vehicle headrest.
  IMPORTANT: Always secure the booster seat with the vehicle seat belts when not occupied. An unsecured booster seat can fly into and injure other occupants in the event of a crash.
2. To secure the child and booster to the vehicle seat, pivot the armrests up and out of the way.
3. If the shoulder belt does not properly lay midway between the child's shoulder and neck, attach the belt clip.
4. Make sure that the lap belt is stretched low and snug across the child's hips, beneath the armrests, and fastened into the buckle.
