This checklist is not intended to replace your car seat instruction manual. You must read the instruction manuals for your car seat and your vehicle before using the car seat.
Checklist for Forward-facing Child Restraint
Child Requirements
Weight: 20 – 65 lbs
Maximum Height: 50 inches tall or less
Age: At least 1 year old

Forward-facing child restraint for children who weigh 20 – 65 lbs AND at least 1 year old. |

IMPORTANT: Evenflo strongly recommends using the top anchorage (tether) strap when securing a child in this child restraint with the harness straps. Using the tether strap will improve the stability of this child restraint and may reduce the risk of injury.
NOTE: If the child weighs more than 65 lbs OR their shoulders are above the highest harness level, you MUST use a Booster Seat.

50 inches tall, or less AND the top of child's ears are at, or just below the top of the child restraint.

| 3. |
If the child weighs 48 lbs or less, the child restraint is securely installed with the LATCH system. |
| 4. |
If the child weighs more than 48 lbs, the child restraint is securely installed with the vehicle seat belt path through the forward-facing belt path. |
| 5. |
Shoulder harness straps MUST be at shoulder level with no more than two finger-widths from the child. |
| 6. |
To properly secure this child restraint, it MUST NOT move more than 1 inch from side-to-side or from front-to-back at the rear-facing belt path. |
| 7. |
Locking clip is installed for shoulder and lap belts, if needed. |
| 8. |
Buckle tongues are fully engaged. |
| 9. |
Chest clip is fastened and at armpit level. |
