Titan™ Installation Checklist

This checklist is not intended to replace your car seat instruction manual. You must read the instruction manuals for your car seat and your vehicle before using the car seat.

Checklist for Forward-facing Child Restraint

Child Requirements
Weight: 20 – 50 lbs
Height: no greater than 47 inches tall
Age: At least 1 year old

Print Out a PDF of the Titan™ Installation Checklist
1. Child restraint for children who are at least 1 year old, weigh 20 – 50 lbs and no greater than 47 inches tall.
  IMPORTANT: If your child weighs more than 50 lbs or their shoulders are above the highest harness level, you MUST discontinue use or the child restraint will not protect your child.
2. Top of the child's ears are at or just below the top of the child restraint seat back.
3. Installation of child restraint can be secured with either the LATCH System or with the vehicle seat belt.
4. Locking clip is installed for shoulder and lap belts, if needed.
5. Shoulder harness straps MUST be on the child's shoulders and snug with no more than two finger-widths of space between the child and the harness strap.
6. Buckle tongues are fully engaged.
7. Chest clip is fastened and at armpit level.
8. To properly secure this child restraint, it MUST NOT move more than 1 inch from side-to-side or from front-to-back at the rear-facing belt path.
