Love this car seat! Installing it is simple and easy, and feels safe and secure. The two cup holders definately come in handy. He can use one for his drink, and the other for his snacks, and they’re easy to reach. I also like the fact that he can use it when he is older due to the 5-point harness system. I would indeed recommend this car seat to anyone

"This seat is easy to install and light weight. My biggest complaint is that the harness weight limit is quite small. Maine law states a child needs to be in a 5 point harness until 55lbs. This seat requires a transition to the booster mode at 40lbs. I know the Sonus has a weight limit of 65lbs but doesn't transition to a booster seat. It doesn't make sense! I wish this seat had a higher 5 point harness weight limit."

Can the headrest on the evenflo chase booster seat be raised up when using it as a booster? Or is it permanent ?
No, the headrest is not adjustable.
Does it pass new side impact safety testing?
Yes, it does meet the new FMVSS213a standards.
Can I buy a new insert for it only?
