"My baby constantly tries to climb the stairs and it scares me! I always want to protect him, even if my eyes aren't on him every second. Since having this gate it's been amazing!! It's so easy to adjust it to my wall and staircase railing. It stays up and secure, so my child can't push it when he leans on it. The little buttons are pretty easy to open, my six year old can open it, but my two year old can't which is also great! This is really the best gate I've owned since having my own kids!"

"We have two of these gates that we use to keep our dog from running into parts of the house when we're not home. We use one in a very narrow doorway and another in a very wide one. Both fit just fine, though I did use small blocks of wood on the wide door to make everything snug. The handle is a bit hard to use until you get used to it."

"I use this for a toddler and for a dog and it works awesome for both, I've tried wooden gates and they always get broken and I've tried pressure gates but always ended up having to reinstall them over and over from knocking them down when stepping over them or from my dog or toddler pushing them down, I use one in a normal size doorway with no extension and another in a larger hallway opening with the extension and they work great both ways. Well worth the money and I just wish I had skipped all the other gates I've tried, saved the money and went with this one to begin with."

"I bought this gate in a pet store to keep my cat from banging against the door to his room. Now he cannot get to the door. I bought this gate because it does not have a grid that he can climb on. The spaces are close enough that he cannot get his little cat head stuck. Very sturdy and well made. Easy to install. Recommend using a2x4 against the wall for extra security and so as not to dent the wallboard."

"Mother of 4, oldest 19, youngest is 2. I've had every type of gate you can buy. My family has managed to break all of them until this one. My toddler can't open it, unlike most other walk-through gates. She figured them all out and I was at my wits end trying to keep her out of the kitchen and bathroom. I bought this one, and loved it so much, I just bought another. The latch will feel tight and hard to open at first, but you will soon get used to it, but your toddler will never be strong enough to work the latch, even if he/she can see how it's supposed to open."
