All your Questions Answered
Q. What is the weight of the All4Stages Slim/Slim+?
The following product weight is an estimate and may vary slightly depending on the specific fashion and trim of your car seat: 23.6 lb
Q. What is the lifespan of the All4Stages Slim/Slim+
This car seat has a 10 year expiration from the date of manufacture. The specific expiration date is listed on the date and model label on the product. Safety standards change over time as restraint technology develops. Expiration dates help ensure that old products are eventually removed from circulation, so all children can benefit from improvements.
Q. I live in Canada. Can I buy a car seat from the US and use it in Canada?
Car seats and booster seats sold in the US do not comply with all Canadian regulatory requirements and, for that reason, may not have the required Maple Leaf label. You should always purchase a car seat that is compliant to the standards of the country in which you live. If you live in Canada, you must use a car seat or booster seat that is compliant to the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (CMVSS) and has the Maple Leaf label.
Q. Is it okay for my child's feet to touch the vehicle seat back when in rear-facing mode?
Yes. This car seat is designed to accommodate children in rear-facing mode until they are 43 inches (109 cm) tall or weigh 40 lb (18.1 kg). It is okay for your child's feet to touch the back of the vehicle seat. When determining if your child has outgrown the car seat in rear-facing mode it is important to check for where your child's head is positioned inside the car seat. They should have at least one inch (2.5 cm) of car seat or headrest over the top of their head.
Q. How long can my child stay rear-facing?
This car seat can be used in rear-facing mode until the child reaches either 40 lbs (18.1 kg), 43 inches (109 cm), or the top of their head is less than 1 inch (2.5 cm) below the top of the car seat or headrest. Once your child reaches any of these three measurements the car seat has been outgrown in rear-facing mode.
