Evenflo® LiteMax™ 30 Voluntary Recall

At Evenflo®, the safety and well-being of children and families is our highest priority. We are conducting a voluntary recall of the LiteMax 30 Infant Car Seat (Factory Select) distributed in the United States due to incorrect weight and height limits included in the Spanish version of the instruction manual. The product is intended for use by children from 3 - 30 lbs (1.4 - 13.6 kg) and 15.7 - 32 inches (40 – 81 cm). This recall does not require you to stop using your car seat, so long as your child falls within those specifications. The recall does not impact LiteMaxTM NXT Infant Car Seat, Revolve180 LiteMax NXT Infant Car Seat, the Shyft Intuiti Travel System, Pivot® NXT Travel System or other fashions of LiteMaxTM 30 currently sold on Evenflo.com.

The impacted car seat has a model number of CS100111198 and manufacture dates from November 1, 2024 to January 28, 2026, which can be found on a label on your car seat.

Parents and caregivers with a recalled model should locate the Spanish instruction manual and discard. Evenflo asks that consumers follow the weight and height limits provided in the English instruction manual and on the product labels. Registered consumers will receive an updated Spanish instruction manual from Evenflo. The correct Spanish manual is also available on Evenflo.com.

This recall does not impact LiteMax NXT Infant Car Seat, Revolve180 LiteMax NXT Car Seat, the Shyft Intuiti Travel System, Pivot® NXT Travel Systems, or LiteMaxTM Sport, LiteMax DLX or other fashions of LiteMax 30 currently sold on Evenflo.com.

How do I know if my car seat is impacted?

Parents and caregivers should look for the small white label with the model number and date of manufacture. If the information on their car seat matches the impacted model number (CS100111198) and manufacture dates (November 1, 2024 to January 28, 2026), then it was shipped with the version of the instructions which contain the error.
 

Is my car seat safe to use?

Yes, this car seat can continue to be used for infants between 3 - 30 lbs (1.4 - 13.6kg) and 15.7 - 32 inches (40 - 81cm). The consumer should locate the Spanish instruction manual and discard. Follow the weight limit provided in the English instruction manual and on product labels. Evenflo will provide an updated Spanish instruction manual to all registered consumers.
