Revolve180 LiteMax NXT Infant Car Seat Voluntary Recall

At Evenflo®, the safety and well-being of children and families is our highest priority. Consistent with that commitment, Evenflo is voluntarily recalling select Revolve180™ LiteMax™ NXT infant car seats manufactured before April 1, 2025, and sold in the United States due to a condition identified during recent post-production laboratory testing.

Testing found that certain Revolve180™ LiteMax™ NXT infant car seat products from the model's initial production, manufactured before April 1, 2025, did not meet certain federal performance requirements due to a calibration issue with the level indicator. Although no injuries have been reported, Evenflo is voluntarily recalling the affected products and will provide consumers with a free repair kit.

The recall applies only to select Revolve180™ LiteMax™ NXT infant car seats, including those purchased separately or as part of select Shyft™ Intuiti™, Shyft™ Intuiti+™, and Omni™ travel systems, that were manufactured before April 1, 2025.  Other Evenflo car seats are NOT included in this recall, nor are Revolve180™ LiteMax™ NXT infant car seats manufactured on or after April 1, 2025.

While the repair kit is being finalized, affected car seats may continue to be used in accordance with Evenflo's approved interim guidance. Understanding the Recall
During recent post-production laboratory testing, a limited number of Revolve180™ LiteMax™ NXT infant car seats manufactured before April 1, 2025, did not meet federal performance requirements due to a calibration issue with the level indicator. No injuries have been reported related to this condition.

If your Revolve180™ LiteMax™ NXT infant car seat was manufactured on or after April 1, 2025, it is not included in this recall.

Determine Whether Your Car Seat is Included
This recall applies only to select Revolve180™ LiteMax™ NXT infant car seats sold in the United States and manufactured before April 1, 2025. Affected car seats may have been purchased separately or as part of select Shyft™ Intuiti™, Shyft™ Intuiti+™, or Omni™ travel systems.

Your car seat is included in this recall only if BOTH of the following are true:

·       Your model number appears in the list below.

·       Your car seat was manufactured before April 1, 2025.

How to Locate Your Model Number and Date of Manufacture
If you're unsure whether your car seat is affected, locate the product label in the center of the car seat base on the LockStrong™ belt-tensioning panel.

Check both:

  • Model number
  • Date of manufacture

Your car seat is included in the recall only if both the model number and date of manufacture match the recall criteria above.

 

 

What You Should Do if Your Product is Included
Evenflo is providing affected consumers with a free repair kit. Until the repair kit is available, you may continue using your affected infant car seat in one of the following ways:

  • Installed without the rotating base, following our installation instructions. Watch our step-by-step installation video here.
  • Installed with a compatible LiteMax™ NXT non-rotating base.
  • Installed with its current rotating base and a load leg.
  • Installed with its current rotating base and a slightly adjusted recline.  Contact our ParentLink® team for specific guidance.
  • Used outside the vehicle as a carrier or with a compatible stroller.

Getting Your Free Repair Kit
Evenflo will provide affected consumers with a free repair kit as soon as possible.  In the meantime, please register your car seat at registration.evenflo.com/evenflo/us/Carseats   so we can notify you when the repair kit becomes available and provide instructions for receiving it. Registered owners will receive updates as soon as additional information is available.

Do not return your car seat to the retailer. Instead, register your affected car seat to receive your free repair kit and future recall updates.
