"With my second I knew to make my life easier I wanted the swivel car seat. The sensory soothe is an added bonus which works well for my 3 week old who already fell asleep to the sounds. My only complaint would be that the canopy doesn’t come down far enough. Living in Vegas where it’s constantly hot and sunny the canopy doesn’t give enough coverage. That would be my only dislike. Super easy to install and light weight enough for me."

But they also delivered the wrong colour so I don’t even know how to return this because I ordered it to a PO Box in the state and then got them to deliver it to me. "My son just turned 6 months old, and we have used this car seat religiously since the day we brought him home. It has honestly been one of our favorite baby purchases. We bought the entire travel system with the bassinet, and it’s been worth every penny…until now. As parents, we absolutely loved the built-in sounds, Bluetooth app, and convenience of the SmartLite handle. Our son, though, was obsessed with the lights. We’ve had so many parents and grandparents ask us what car seat it is because they’ve never seen anything like it, and kids walking by are constantly pointing at the lights. It really is such a unique feature and something that sets Evenflo apart. We were actually planning on buying from the Home Collection because we’ve loved this experience so much and were already thinking ahead to future babies. After this, though, I’m honestly a little hesitant. I still want to stick with Evenflo because I love the brand, its values, and the overall quality, but it’s discouraging that the feature that makes this car seat so unique failed so quickly. The handle has completely stopped working. The lights and sounds will come on for about two minutes, then shut off and won’t turn back on. We’ve replaced the batteries countless times (about once a month because we used it so often), tried multiple battery brands, adjusted the battery springs, and gone through every troubleshooting step we could find. Nothing has fixed it. The part that makes me the saddest is the timing. He’s finally old enough to intentionally watch the lights, smile at them, kick his little feet with excitement, and interact with them…and that’s exactly when they stopped working. I completely understand that things can fail, but this isn’t an inexpensive purchase, and I genuinely expected the SmartLite features to last much longer than they did. Overall, this has been an amazing car seat, and I’d still recommend it because we’ve loved everything else about it. I just wish the feature that made it so special had lasted longer—or that there was a way to replace just the handle instead of losing that functionality entirely. I truly hope Evenflo continues improving this feature because it’s an incredible idea. I’d love to continue recommending it the way I have been, and I still hope to purchase from the Home Collection in the future. Right now, though, I’m left disappointed because the feature our son loved most disappeared just as he was finally able to enjoy it."
