"Always has constant problems opening, and coming out of the car. I dont know if the one we got is defective but ive had issue after issue with this stroller. I wouldve rather purchased a car seat and stroller seperate at this point. My current issue is that when I take my baby out of the car I set this on the ground and push the too white release button and one of the latches wont open anymore. This has been frustrating for both me and my husband"
"I am extremely disappointed with Evenflo’s customer service and handling of a serious safety concern involving my child’s car seat. I reported that the car seat has multiple defects, including difficulty removing the seat from the base and issues with the harness adjustment, which raises concerns about being able to quickly remove my child in an emergency. I contacted Evenflo multiple times and provided videos and detailed information about the problem. After initially receiving limited responses, I was told the seat was out of warranty and was only offered a discount on a replacement. Since then, I have sent three follow-up emails and have received no response. This is not simply a cosmetic issue or normal wear and tear—this is a product being used to transport an infant safely. When a parent reports a potential safety defect, they deserve timely communication and meaningful assistance. The lack of response and poor communication have left me driving with a car seat that I do not feel confident using. I expected much better support from a company that manufactures child safety products. Will never buy from Evenflo again after this horrible experience"
"Yes, this is convenient. But so is our very affordable graco jet2go travel system and the graco one is 10x better, just as convenient, and WAY cheaper. For the price of this, it does not feel nearly as high quality as our graco one. I haven’t even had it 3 months and the mechanisms for the handle and buttons get caught. Sometimes it’s difficult to take out of the car and gets stuck. There is no accessory base of equal quality to the one that comes with this set- so that’s really stupid. I realize this is a smaller issue- but the cup holder also is literally not functional as it tips from side to side with any amount of weight… you would just expect a higher quality item for this price tag. Get the graco travel system instead of this- you will not regret it. As other people say I’m sure too, this is heavy! It’s not like unbearably heavy but it’s markedly heavier than our graco seat. Just overall not worth it unless you can get this on a really good sale."
"I am extremely concerned and disappointed with Evenflo’s handling of what I believe is a serious safety issue involving my Evenflo Shyft DualRide. My concerns began when I experienced problems with the seat properly clicking into the base and difficulty loosening the harness straps. These are not minor inconveniences—they are critical safety functions. If the seat does not securely attach to the base and the harness cannot be loosened when needed, there could be a situation where a child cannot be removed quickly during an emergency. I last heard directly from Evenflo on July 17. After posting a review about these concerns, Evenflo publicly responded on July 27 stating that someone would be reaching out to me. As of today, I have still not been contacted. What is most frustrating is not just the lack of communication, but the fact that the issue involves the safety of a child restraint system. Parents trust car seat manufacturers to take reports of potential safety concerns seriously and to follow through when they say they will investigate or contact a customer. Because I have been unable to get a resolution despite reporting these concerns and waiting for follow-up, I am moving forward with filing a complaint with the appropriate safety authorities. I hope Evenflo will take these concerns seriously and provide the follow-up they promised."
"The stroller broke within a month of using it. The wheel and wheel component broke while using it. Apparently there is no customer service for this company. Ive called and emailed and neither is apparently working. Absolute waste of money. I will never buy from Evenflo again just due to customer service or the lack there of. Now im without a carseat."
"We have owned this stroller car seat combo since November 2025 when my daughter was born. Now just shy of eight months the wheels no longer open and we cannot use as a stroller you would think for the price of the product it would work for at least a year."
"This has been by far one the best car seats I’ve purchased. I needed something that was easy to take in and out of the car hasslefree and this was definitely it. My son has enjoyed this car seat very much but sadly he’s growing out of it. But it made life easy for the time that I’ve had it. It’s something I could pop in and out the car for each doctor appointment store visit and everything in between."
"We trusted this car seat to bring our newborn home safely, but we have since discovered a serious safety concern. The seat does not consistently click securely into the base. We made sure it clicked properly before leaving the hospital, but when we arrived home we noticed that only one side of the locking mechanism had actually engaged, while the other side had not fully locked into place. In addition, it no longer clicks securely into the base at all, and the wheels frequently get stuck, making it very frustrating and difficult to fold. We followed all instructions carefully, yet it feels unsafe to use, which is extremely concerning as parents."
"So bad"
