The option to pressure mount or hardware mount means you can use it virtually anywhere – even those really wide spaces from 29 in. – 43 in. wide. With coffee in one hand, you can easily swing into action using the one-handed latch to open the gate. Simple for adults to use, but not simple enough for a baby or pet to escape. And the gate closes quietly with the auto-close hinge that won’t startle baby. The red and green color indicator lets you know if the gate is locked properly. Care
- Wash gate with mild soap and warm water and dry thoroughly before using.
- Metal and plastic parts can be wiped clean with a soft damp cloth and dried with a soft cloth. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- An occasional drop of vegetable oil may reduce wear and tear on moving parts.

No the gate would have to be installed on an even surface and straight across.

How does the adjustment bumpers separate apart?
There is an adjustment knob directly behind the contact pad, when rotating the knob the pad will start to work away from the knob and push up against the wall.

Can you double stack the extensions to make it fit a wider doorway?
No as this will weaken an installation.
Could the woodlike section be sanded and repainted?
No the gate should not be altered in any way.
Can this gate be used banister to banister?
No, this is a pressure mounted gate.
How do the adjustment bumpers work?
The adjustment bumpers will just slide into the ends of the gate they do not screw in. Once you slide them in you will rotate the adjustment knob, the knob will stay flush against the gate and the contact pad will start to extend out and push against the wall.
