Revolve360

How much does the Revolve360 Extend weigh?

31 lb. (14 kg)

How many buckle positions are on the Revolve360TM Extend and are there any restrictions based on the mode of use?

The Revolve360TM Extend has three buckle positions to help fit your growing child. You can use any of the three positions in either rear-facing or forward-facing harnessed mode. You should use the position that places the buckle closest to, but not underneath, your child.

Does this come with a vehicle seat protector mat?

No, but we do have an accessory mat available at evenflo.com. You can also place a towel beneath and behind the car seat to help protect your vehicle

Does the Revolve360TM Extend include a base?

Yes, the Revolve360TM Extend consists of a seat shell and base. The seat shell is removable to ensure an easy installation of the base to the vehicle. The seat shell and base must be used together as a system.

Does this seat have an anti-rebound bar?

Yes, the base of the Revolve360TM Extend acts as an anti-rebound system — a lot like an anti-rebound bar. This feature absorbs and dissipates crash forces to help provide additional stability.

Does this seat have a load leg?

No, the Revolve360TM Extend is not designed with a load leg. This car seat meets or exceeds all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards and Evenflo's internal testing standards. The Revolve360TM Extend is engineered to manage crash energy appropriately without the addition of a load leg.

How does the extended leg rest work?

The reversible, removable leg rest can be used to support legs in extended rear-facing mode with the cushion side up or it can be reversed to support knees and dangling legs in forward-facing mode. This additional leg rest is optional and may be removed or used in either configuration at any time.

Can the car seat be used without cup holders?

Yes, you can use this product without the cup holders attached to the car seat. The Revolve360TM Extend is all about flexibility and convenience. The cup holders are even safe to be placed in the top rack of your dishwasher for cleaning.

Can I use the Revolve360TM Extend without the base?

No — the seat shell must be used with the base.

Can I purchase an extra base?

No. The seat shell and base are designed to be used as a system and an extra base is not available for sale.

Which models include SensorSafeTM?

The Revolve360TM Extend Gold models come equipped with SensorSafeTM and can be found on www.amazon.com or www.evenflo.com.

Does the Revolve360TM Extend fit into a travel bag?

Yes, it fits in the Evenflo Universal Fit Car Seat, Travel Bag & Storage Bag which is sold separately at evenflo.com.

How easy is it to install the Revolve360TM Extend?

Installing the Revolve360TM Extend is easy with the Sure360TM Safety Installation System, which includes a LockStrongTM belt tensioning arm to help you get a tight installation with either the lower anchor (LATCH/UAS) or the vehicle seat belt, and the Tether360TM which is used in both rear-facing and forward-facing harness installations.

What is LockStrongTM??

LockStrongTM is a belt tensioning system that helps you easily achieve a tight installation with either the lower anchors (LATCH/UAS) or vehicle seat belt. It is built into the base and applies additional tension, so you get a maximum result with minimal effort. IMPORTANT: When installing with the vehicle seat belt, your vehicle seat belt MUST be locked to ensure accurate and safe installation.

What is the easiest way to install the Revolve360TM Extend?

The seat belt is the preferred method of installation for the Revolve360TM Extend because it allows you to take advantage of a true one-time installation. The tether must be used in both rear-facing and forward-facing harness installations, regardless of whether you have the car seat base installed with the seat belt or lower anchors (LATCH/UAS). IMPORTANT: When installing with the vehicle seat belt, your vehicle seat belt MUST be locked to ensure accurate and safe installation.

Where is the date and model label?

You can find the date of manufacture, model name, and model number on a label on the rear of the car seat over the User Guide storage pocket. It is also located on the car seat base near the LockStrongTM belt tensioning arm.

How long can my child stay rear-facing in the Revolve360TM Extend?

The Revolve360TM Extend can be used in rear-facing mode until the child reaches either 50 lb (22,6 kg), 48 in. (122 cm), or the top of their head is less than 1 in. (2.5 cm) below the top of the headrest or car seat shell. Once your child reaches any of these three measurements, the child has outgrown the car seat in rear-facing mode.

What is the best way to install the Revolve360TM Extend if I plan to move it between cars?

The seat belt is the preferred method of installation for the Revolve360TM Extend because it allows you to take advantage of a true one-time installation. The tether must be used in both rear-facing and forward-facing harness installations, regardless of whether you have the car seat base installed with the seat belt or lower anchors (LATCH/UAS). IMPORTANT: When installing with the vehicle seat belt, your vehicle seat belt MUST be locked to ensure accurate and safe installation.

What does a one-time install mean?

The one-time installation feature of the Revolve360TM Extend is really a differentiator. When used with the vehicle belt, you'll never have to re-install the car seat when used in rear- and forward-facing mode. (Note: The base needs to be reinstalled for booster mode.)

Up to what weight can you use LATCH?

Lower anchors may be used for a child weighing up to 30 lb. (13.6 kg) in rear-facing mode and for a child weighing up to 35 lb. (15.8 kg) in forward-facing mode. Remember to ALWAYS use the tether in both rear-facing and forward-facing harness mode installations.

Can the Revolve360TM Extend be reclined while installed?

Yes. It's super easy to recline your rear-facing installation with the on-the-go recline feature. (Keep in mind—the Revolve360TM Extend can only be reclined when in rear-facing mode.)

Can the Revolve360TM Extend be tethered rear- and forward-facing?

Yes, in fact, you must ALWAYS use the tether when installing the Revolve360TM Extend in rear-facing and forward-facing harness modes. The tether is optional in booster mode.

Where do I check to make sure I have a tight install?

Firmly grip the car seat base near the belt path opening, which is where you have it installed. Try to move the car seat from side to side and front to back. The car seat should not move more than one inch (2.5 cm). If it moves more than one inch at the belt path, try your installation again. If it still moves more than one inch you may need to change seating positions in your vehicle or try a different installation method.

I am installing the Revolve360TM Extend in rear-facing mode and I need the car seat to be more reclined. Can I use a rolled towel to increase the rear-facing recline?

Yes, in certain situations. The Revolve360TM Extend features four recline positions for rear-facing installations. The recline can be adjusted “on the fly” which means you are able to recline the child’s seating area after you have installed the car seat. There is a bead level on the side of the car seat which must be aligned with your child’s size. You may tightly roll a towel or use a section of pool noodle underneath the base of the car seat near the vehicle seat back to increase the recline angle, if necessary. The Revolve 360 TM Extend can only be used in one recline position in forward-facing installations. You may NOT use a rolled towel or pool noodle to change the recline in forward-facing mode.

Can I install this car seat in the center seat of my vehicle?

Yes. The Revolve360TM Extend can be used in any forward-facing vehicle seating position allowed in your vehicle’s owner’s manual, as long as a tight installation can be achieved. Therefore, the center seating position may be an option. However, in some vehicles the center seating position may be narrower which could make it more difficult to tightly install your car seat. In many vehicles, the center seating position may not allow installation with lower anchors. It is important to refer to both your vehicle owner's manual and your car seat user guide for full installation details.

If I have both this car seat and a second car seat, will there be enough room to fit a third passenger in my backseat?

There are many combinations of vehicle makes, models, car seat configurations, vehicle seat belt designs, and seat cushion shapes. The easiest way to determine whether your car seat is suitable for a particular seating position is to check for a tight installation, especially when trying to fit multiple passengers in the back seat of your vehicle.

Unfortunately, some smaller sedans and SUVs have rear seat belt systems that overlap, which makes it very difficult to fit three passengers in the rear seat.

In addition, the Revolve360TM Extend is designed to rotate allowing for easy loading and unloading of your child. The car seat will need some additional lateral space to accomplish the rotation, so fitting another car seat in the adjacent seating position may limit your use of that feature.

Will I be able to fit three car seats in my back seat with the Revolve360TM Extend?

There are many thousands of combinations of vehicle makes, models, car seat configurations, vehicle seat belt designs, and seat cushion shapes. The easiest way to determine whether your car seat is suitable for a particular seating position is to check for a tight installation, especially when trying to fit multiple passengers in the back seat of your vehicle.

The following conditions should be met when installing three car seats next to each other:

  • Each car seat must achieve a correct and tight installation.
  • The positions of the car seat on the vehicle seat are not changed by contact. Each car seat still aligns properly with respect to the seat belt or lower anchors that secure them and do not overlap the adjacent car seat.
  • If the vehicle seat is adjustable front-to-back, both portions of the vehicle seat must be adjusted to the same position.
  • Only one lower anchor connector is connected to a single lower anchor point.
  • There is no contact or force that would bend or deform any of the car seats.
  • The lower anchor belt or seat belt used to install each car seat does not rub on each other or crossover in a way that they interfere with each other.

In addition, the Revolve360TM Extend is designed to rotate to make loading and unloading your child a breeze. The car seat will need some additional lateral space to accomplish the rotation, so fitting another car seat in the adjacent seating position may limit your use of that feature.

Is it okay for my child’s feet to touch the vehicle seat back when in rear-facing mode?

Yes. The Revolve360TM Extend is designed to accommodate children in rear-facing mode until they are 48 in. (122 cm) tall or weigh 50 lb (22.6 kg). It is okay for your child’s feet to touch the back of the vehicle seat. When determining if your child has outgrown the car seat in rear-facing mode, it is important to check for where your child’s head is positioned inside the car seat. They should have at least one inch (2.5 cm) of the car seat or headrest over the top of their head.

Does this seat fit taller kids?

The Revolve360TM Extend was designed with a wide range of children in mind, from infants to big kids. The Revolve360TM Extend’s extended seating area accommodates children in rear-facing mode until they are 48 in (122 cm) tall or weigh 50 lb (22,6 kg). In forward-facing mode, the Revolve360TM Extend can be used until the child is 49 in (124 cm) tall or weighs 65 lb (29,4 kg). Full product details are provided in the product instructions.

If using this seat in a second car or caregiver’s car, how easy is it to change modes for children of different ages?

The Revolve360TM Extend makes switching the car seat between different children a breeze. The easy one-time installation allows you to rotate the seat between rear-facing and forward-facing modes without reinstalling the car seat. Additionally, the no-rethread harness can be raised or lowered by squeezing the handle at the top of the headrest – again, no need to reinstall the car seat! Remember to remove the optional infant insert when using the car seat in forward-facing mode.

Can I easily adjust from harness use to belt-positioning booster use?

In order to use the Revolve360TM Extend in belt-positioning booster mode, you must remove the buckle from the car seat. Twist the bottom of the buckle so the strap lines up with the slot in the bottom of the car seat. Slide the strap while gently angling the metal anchor upwards. It may be easier to slide the buckle anchor out from the rear slot, but you can use either the front or rear. The Revolve360TM Extend can be transitioned from harness to booster mode easily —simply follow the included User Guide or our booster installation video.

How do I know the car seat is locked into place?

The red/green Seat Lock Indicator is a fast, easy way to make sure the Revolve360TM Extend is locked into place. The indicator will turn green when the seat is locked in the rear-facing or forward-facing position. The indicator must show green at all times when the vehicle is in motion.

Will the Revolve360TM Extend rotate on its own?

No, as long as the product is correctly locked in the rear-facing or forward-facing position. You can confirm this by checking the Seat Lock Indicator on either side of the car seat — it will be green when in the locked position. In the interest of safety, only the caregiver should rotate the car seat by squeezing the rotation handle on either side of the car seat.

Does the Revolve360TM Extend move when the car is in motion because of the rotational feature?

The indicator will be green when in the locked position. The indicator must show green at all times when the vehicle is in motion.

Do the rotational components wear over time?

Remember — this is an extended-use car seat that's designed to take you from babyhood to ten years-old. The product has been tested to meet strict cycling and durability standards, so it's built to take you through childhood.

Can the Revolve360TM Extend use any other style LATCH/UAS?

The Revolve360TM Extend should only be used with the LATCH/UAS that is included with your purchase.

I tried to rotate my Evenflo Revolve360TM Extend, but my seat got stuck and will not move in any direction now. What do I do?

First, squeeze the recline adjustment handle (located behind the car seat) and adjust the car seat into the fully-reclined position – even if you plan to rotate the seat for forward-facing use. If you are having difficulty reclining the car seat, try the following: squeeze the recline adjustment handle, pull up slightly on the back of the car seat, and then push down quickly and firmly on the car seat back.

Once the car seat is in the fully-reclined position, squeeze the rotation handle and rotate the car seat to either the rear-facing or forward-facing position.

Please note that the fully reclined position becomes the fully-upright position as you rotate the car seat into the forward-facing position.

If you still are unable to get the car seat to recline or rotate, please contact ParentLink at 1-800-233-5921 (U.S.) or 1-937-773-3971 (Canada), Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm (EST).

Can I wash the pad? If so, how?

Yes! Simply wash the removable seat pads separately in cold water — delicate cycle, with mild detergent. Tumble dry for 10 – 15 minutes on low heat, remove immediately. And be sure not to iron or dry clean. See product instructions for full cleaning details.

Can I safely disinfect my Evenflo car seat?

Yes. You can use 70% isopropyl alcohol to disinfect car seat and booster seat surfaces, including the fabric, harness, buckle, plastic parts, foam, and labels. You can spray or wipe the 70% isopropyl alcohol to dampen (but not soak) the surfaces. Afterward, be sure to let the surface air dry. This guidance applies to all Evenflo car seats and booster seats. But keep in mind—this guidance doesn’t apply to vehicle surfaces, like the seat belt. Please consult your vehicle manufacturer for guidance on disinfecting or cleaning vehicle surfaces.

How easy is it to remove the covers to wash?

Really simple. The covers are designed to be easy to remove and toss in the wash (just be sure to wash separately, delicate cycle, with mild detergent).

How do I clean the base?

Plastic components may be wiped clean with warm water and mild soap. Take care not to soak the product use labels.

Does the black fabric get hot in the summer?

Like all black fabrics, the black fabric on your car seat will get warmer the longer the seat is exposed to sunlight. In warmer months, you can place a towel or sheet over the car seat when it is not in use to help keep it cool.

How comfortable are the fabrics for my baby?

The Evenflo Revolve360TM Extend is designed with premium, soft fabrics that have a smooth finish for easy spot cleaning. Your baby will love the plush feel.
