It’s designed with convenience in mind for on-the-go parents or additional caregivers. Transfers from vehicle to vehicle are made easier, more convenient and will save parents both time and effort. The Accessory Base is a cost-effective solution for families with multiple cars or additional caregivers. It can be installed with the vehicle seat belt and our LockStrong™ belt tensioning system and can be used with wheels on or wheels off.

Read all instructions and warnings on the product, product labels, and instruction manuals before use. Consult your vehicle owner's manual to determine proper placement of child restraint in your vehicle and familiarize yourself with your vehicle's components. DO NOT lubricate or immerse in water the LATCH connectors, or any other part of this child restraint, unless rinsing is permitted. Plastic and metal parts may be wiped clean with mild soap and water and dried with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Take care not to damage any labels.

SCAM DON’T BUY

"VERY misleading. The accessory base does not operate the same way as the standard base that came with the car seat. The car seat can NOT be removed from the base without the wheels attached to the seat. That’s the entire point of why people buy this car seat. Evenflow, instead of apologizing and telling everyone you’ll take it into consideration for future designs, why don’t you give people at least half their money back since it’s half the product that everyone thought they were buying. Absolutely pathetic. You sell an expensive product and it doesn’t even work the way people think it’s going to."

"Bought the extra base for my truck and if a grandparent needed it without having to move our primary base. But turns out the f the grandparent are keeping them they have the option of no wheels at all or wheels all the time defeats the all principal of removable wheels"

Just sell the original base

"What is the point of this base? If I want to use the carrier to take my baby to the store I have to hope my wife is home so I can go into her car with the stroller, remove the carrier from the wheels there, then put the carrier in my car? Why can’t I also have a base where I can put the entire stroller in and remove just the carrier. This is so stupid. Sell me the standard base!"

"If you have 2 vehicles or even just need a spare base for the grandparents. The best feature of this base is that you can use it with the wheels attached to the car seat or not attached. However, you cannot leave the wheels in this base."

Don’t buy from even Flo

"BUYER BEWARE! Buy from Amazon or target, a company with reasonable return policies. This device functions as the company intended. However, the description is purposely misleading. It does not clearly explain that this base does not allow you to leave the wheels behind as the original base does. The language very purposely skirts that truth. I will say that customer service was polite and direct. However, you will be responsible for paying full shipping back to them if you receive this without understanding this nuance. As a first time parent, one shouldn’t have to worry about understanding the nuance function of fine tuned equipment to be able to trust that you won’t be taken advantage of by cleverly misdirected language."

Why can you not take the wheels off in this base like you can with the original base that was included with the car seat?
The accessory base for the Shyft DualRide is designed to where the way the product is placed on the base is the way it has to be removed from the base. Should you have any further concerns please contact customer support.
Why is to is not exactly the same as what comes with the car seat kit? Why can you not take the wheels off in this additional base? It is very inconvenient and should be clearer in the description.

The additional Shyft DualRide bases is compatible with all Syft DualRide products.
When will you create an additional base that allows for you to take the wheels off too?
The only additional base that will be available for the Shyft DualRide is the current additional base that is available now.
Why is this not the same base as what is given with the actual car seat? Not being able to take the wheels off in the base is extremely inconvenient. Is there a way to take off the wheels then? Are you going to be selling a base that is the exact model of the one given?
