Great seat, poor recline

"This seat was nice to use while our baby was a newborn and as a travel system, it worked amazing with the Evenflo stroller system we bought. However I drive a VW Atlas(midsize SUV) and we COULD NOT get the recline to be reclined enough for our newborn. We used this seat for about 3 months then switched to a different model/brand and all recline issues were resolved. We had a bigger baby(10lbs) and from the start we had some difficulty with the recline. It seemed his head was too heavy, as soon as the baby fell into a deep sleep in the car, his head would essentially be in his chest. We called the support team and they were extremely helpful and kind! We fixed everything that they advised and tightened the seat, however I found the issue was with the base and my cars compatibility. I read online this was a common trend with this specific seat and SUVs. Again, it was SO convenient for short trips around town and using it with the stroller system, as the babies head would not slump forward using it in the system. If you have an SUV I would be weary of this model. It gave me a quite a headache worrying my babies breathing was affected anytime we were in the car over 30 minutes. Hope this helps!"

Nice product but not compatible with other evenflo

"Love the car seat itself and all the features like sensor safe and sensor soothe. However extremely disappointed it is not compatible and does not have adaptors to work with other litemax bases nor work with pivot modular stroller system. Evenflow should have all their systems be interchangeable or offer adaptors."

All around a great car seat!

"Overall love this car seat! The fabric is super soft and comfortable for my newborn. My favorite safety feature is the ability to check the temperature especially with it being super hot outside. It was easy to install and set up. The evenflo app is very convenient to use (it took me less than five minutes to set up) and I enjoy the ability of getting updates knowing the buckle is clipped. I also really enjoy that there is a tie to keep the extra adjustable seatbelt length off of the floor. I’m super happy with this car seat! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat."

Lightweight and safe

"I recieved this car seat from the stellar panel review, and I was very pleased with it. It’s the first car seat I’ve tried with sensor safe and I am really enjoying that feature. It really gives me peace of mind to know I’ll be alerted if there is an emergency. The carseat is pretty comfortable, but I would like one that is even more comfortable, especially for a newborn. I love how light it is to carry in and out of the car. Although it wouldn’t be my first choice in choosing a car seat, overall I have been very happy with this car seat and it’s a very solid option."

Comfy for the infant

"I am a mom of 3 sons, we have dealt with car seats for the last 6 years. My baby is currently 5 weeks old and still in that tiny newborn stage. The comfort of this car seat is amazing. It fits his body and head from falling over easily. I did receive this product for free to test through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was intrigued by the sensor safe and even though I hope I would never forget to clip his chest but sometimes we think we do something and we don’t. The app would alert me to let me know it isnt clipped. The app also told me the temp. Of carseat or the car. The over all look of thr car seat was that it is made for comfort and safety for the baby and ease of worrying for the parents. The ease of install of the car seat and base into the car was simple. The straps are easily adjustable from the back if they need to be bigger for the growing child."

"I was given this product to test by the Stellar Review Panel in exchange for my honest review. I absolutely love this car seat. It’s cushion seats and soft fabrics are so comfortable for baby. I absolutely love the sensor safe technology on the seat the real time alerts gave me the confidence to sit up front for the first time since I had her. I also love that it was easy to install the seat in the car and it’s easy to load and unload baby. I also feel like this seat fits my taller baby better than her original one. The only thing I would change is the fabric on the sun visor, I love how much it covers but I wish the fabric was different personal preference of course. Overall this is an amazing seat and for the price you can’t beat it."

The headrest is super easy to adjust with one hand, and it fits my baby snug and secure without any hassle. The SensorSafe feature is awesome! It sends alerts to my phone if the car gets too hot, if baby’s been buckled in too long, or if the chest clip comes undone. It’s such a relief knowing I have that extra layer of safety. Installation was a breeze. The LockStrong system made sure it was locked in tight, and the fabric feels soft and comfy. Overall, I’m really happy with this seat. "This car seat really surprised me upon unboxing! I was expecting to see “less” for the price point but I was pleasantly surprised. The look of the car seat was great. The color is perfect and the fabric is VERY nice. If I didn’t see the brand on the car seat, I would’ve assumed it was definitely a higher price point car seat. The seat was very easy to adjust. It has similar features to all other car seats in terms of adjustments which is always a plus (not having to learn new ways to adjust things). The installation process was very easy and hassle free! A few easy snaps and you’re done! The sensor safe feature offers peace of mind that I didn’t think I needed. Once paired with the app it can even tell you the temperature in your car. I thought this was fantastic! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat!"

"I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was so excited to test this car seat out with baby number 2! When I pulled the Evenflo LiteMax NXT with sensor safe car seat out of the box, I was really impressed with how lightweight the car seat was. I love that it’s green and gentle fabric because it’s extremely comfortable and always a plus, when it’s safer for my baby! I do wish the canopy came down a little further for extra coverage, but still worked. The directions were very easy to follow making the install quick and hassle free. I usually have my husband do the base, but it was easy enough for me to put in my car. The feature I was most excited to try out was the sensorsafe because I’ve never had a seat with this option and it helped ease my mind with that little extra help and was easy to use the app! Overall we’ve been extremely happy with this car seat."
