"I recently received the Evenflo Tribute and was overall not happy with the quality. The padding felt thin and uncomfortable, and the included cup holder could not be attached without cutting into the seat cover, which seemed odd. I did not use the car seat and opted to return it and look at other models with upgraded features. Evenflo claims that if you're not 100% satisfied, you can return the item within 30 days for a full refund. I called and was told I would need to ship it back at my own expense, and the refund would be issued after inspection. In my opinion the return policy is impractical. While I understand having to pay for return shipping, I was surprised that I wasn't offered the option to return the item at the original $12 shipping rate I paid. The least expensive return shipping quote I found was nearly $70. - almost the price of the car seat itself. Since Evenflo does not issue a refund until the item is received and inspected, there is no risk to them in offering a return label and deducting the shipping cost from the refund. I do not recommend purchasing directly from Evenflo unless you are absolutely certain you will be keeping the item."
