"The crotch buckle is so tight and not adjustable. The car seat just came in a cardboard box, no plastic, or any kind of wrapping. Just everything flailing all over the place. Had to return and still waiting on my refund over a week later. Had to buy from Graco after this."

"We have the older model for my daughter and absolutely love it, so when I got pregnant with my son 2 years ago we knew what we wanted. WRONG when we ordered what we thought was the same car seat, because the pictures and descriptions were the same it was different. It no longer used quick connect just latch system. The base for it was also was so much smaller, doesn't even take up the whole seat. The manual still showed Quick Connect so I contacted Evenflo to make sure this was correct and they said it was. We had this installed in our van for 6 months once my son was 9 months old. It NEVER was tightly installed like the bigger base version was. It always had the 1 inch of movement that is safely allowed, but I don't like. Then once he was old enough to be sitting more upright we changed the recline. No matter how tight we got the seat he would always end up back in the completely reclined position again. Not because the recline became unlocked, because the tiny base would shift and make the seat tilt backwards. I have spent so much time adjusting this seat and trying to make it safe for my kid within the manual allowance. Finally yesterday I gave up and got him a different brand car seat. I would never buy the Evenflo all 4 one seat again unless they changed back to the base that takes up the whole seat and is actually stable again. Also big red flag that when they changed the install and didn't change the user manual."
"The crotch buckle is extremely tight. The seat is supposed to grow with our child, but he's only 2 years old and already cannot be strapped in. I contacted the Evenflo support team, and was told to buy a new car if our child didn't fit in the current one, because they cannot help. The model apparently doesn't come with an adjustable crotch buckle. Would have been good to know this in advance before I spent over $300 dollars on this seat."

"Since my son has been forward facing, the crotch area is extremely hard to figure out. He’s underweight for a 2 year old and still the crotch area causes him discomfort. There’s no way to adjust it and the pad doesn’t stay on (it usually falls out every time). So frustrating because we expected this to be a car seat he could grow with but that isn’t possible. I’ve taken the padding off to see if there was a way to adjust but there isn’t."
